Mission
N*COURAGE*MINT was formed out of a
mentorship program with John Tracy Clinic (www.jtc.org).
We sought this mentorship based on their years of service to families, specifically parents, who have children with hearing loss.

creating a safe and healthy environment for parents to understand the facts and
feelings
surrounding parenting a child with hearing loss. This kind of support is needed because more that 90% of children born with
hearing loss are born to hearing parents and hearing loss is a new experience for these parents. Educating and supporting parents
helps them become true advocates for their children no matter what language philosophy they choose.
